In Whitegarden, it seems to me, there’s two types of people.
Those who live in the city, and those who live in the forest. It might sound like some kind of metaphor, but it’s truth.
Center Garden Park is an dense forest and arboretum in the middle of town. Downtown surrounds this hexagonal shaped park. In the 1960’s, Whitegarden officials made Center Garden Park a protected nature area for its history, natural beauty and cultural significance to the city. Because of this, downtown commuters must drive around the park in a large roundabout, which in the last two decades has become a topic of debate amongst work-goers and local government. There are no paved roads cutting through the park. Instead, it features a winding footpath for visitors to take in the sights of hundred-year-old trees and several unique and vibrant flowers, in an otherwise busy medium-sized town.
